Lynn Lashbrook

Dr. Lashbrook is President and Founder of Sports Management Worldwide, first ever online sports career training company with a mission to educate and train future sports business executives. SMWW trains thousands of students every year for sports business careers from over 100 countries. Dr. Lashbrook has been in sports management for over 35 year and has demonstrated a lifelong passion for helping students strategize and reach their career goals in the world of sports. Dr. Lashbrook has served at the collegiate level as an athletic academic advisor and athletic director. Willy Badger

Martin Bayfield

(Japan), Willy is the SMWW Japan Operations Manager and assists SMWW in Japan with student services, professional sports operations, and all SMWW Japan related operations. Willy Badger is a dynamic award winning multi-lingual entertainer with outstanding communication skills and creativity. Willy Badger has lived and worked in Japan for the last 12 years. His other talents include being a popular columnist for www.golf-in-japan.com , and an award winning short documentary filmmaker. He is able to conduct interviews in English, French and Japanese.

Martin Bayfield

Martin Bayfield

(London, England), rugby legend. The former England international and British and Irish Lion, made his debut for England 1991 and played for the first team until 1998 when a serious neck injury forced him to retire from the game. He has won the Rugby Football Player of the Year title and gained 31 international caps, playing in the 1992 and 1995 Grand Slam sides. Since retirement, Bayfield has worked as a journalist and commentator. Martin is part of the BBC Radio Five Live's award-winning rugby commentary team and most recently Martin participated in the ITV Sport's coverage & analysis of the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Martin writes for the Daily Telegraph, the BBC and presents the World's Strongest Man competition.

Derek Bragg

(Birmingham, England), Managing Director of The Scouting Network, located in Birmingham, England. The Scouting Network is a revolutionary approach to accessing soccer talent. It is the first independent scouting network in international soccer. It provides the most extensive scouting reports from around the globe with a database of over 30,000 of players and offers team and individual player assessments to over 50 UK and European soccer clubs. Derek and his trained soccer scouts have scouted soccer players in numerous countries on several continents.

Tom Blattler

Tom Blattler

(Indianapolis, Indiana, USA) is a motor sports sponsorship, public relations and media relations guru with over 30 years of professional experience with major sports events. Blattler brings unmatched experience with a variety of race sponsors, racing leagues and media outlets. His personal clients have included Rahal Letterman Racing, Don Prudhomme Racing, Tom Gloy Racing, Duracell, Centrix Automotive, Pioneer, CARA Charities and the NHRA. He has introduced and coordinated media relations activities on a national and international level including: the Nissan Pathfinder SUV, Nissan “Hardbody” truck, Honda Racing Program, Miller Lite CART Indy Car, Motorola’s Indy Car, Icehouse NASCAR Truck Program and Shell and Argent Mortgage Racing. Blattler started his own communication company TB Communications in 1986 and has gone on to assist companies at major automotive events such as the Indy 500, U.S. Formula One Grand Prix and Daytona 500. Blattler and TB Communications have worked with personalities like Bobby Rahal, Danny Sullivan, Danica Patrick, Buddy Rice, Kenny Brack and John Andretti just to name a few.

Joe Bonahoom

JD (Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA) serves as the SMWW Director of Baseball. Joe has been practicing law since 1986 when he graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a B.S. in Business Administration and a J.D. Degree in Law. He is an active member of the Sports Lawyer's Association. Joe has counseled with and negotiated for clients in all facets of business set up, planning and operations, contractual matters and negotiations, financial transactions, tax, investment and retirement planning. Joe's law practice led him to the representation of several professional athletes for legal, business, contractual and financial matters and ultimately into the athlete agent business with an emphasis on baseball.

Matt Brock

Matt Brock

(Portland, Oregon, USA), had a successful 8 year NFL career with the Green Bay Packers (89'-94) and the New York Jets (95'-96'). Matt attended the University of Oregon and played Defensive Tackle for the University of Oregon football team. Matt is now an NFL consultant to SMWW, training new agents, supporting SMWW Agent Advisors with recruiting and mentoring athletes.

Maury Brown

Maury Brown

(Portland, Oregon, USA), is the editor of The Biz of Baseball and President of Bizball, LLC. Maury was the creator of the original Business of Baseball.com, and the former co-chair of SABR's Business of Baseball committee. His first notable work in the business of baseball was assisting in the Submission to MLB by the MLB to Portland effort during the Expos relocation derby. His main contribution involved the proposed Charter Seat License program. He is currently on the staff of Baseball Prospectus, has been a staff member for The Hardball Times and writes the companion blog to The Biz of Baseball, The Baseball Journals. His analysis and commentary has been published in the NY Times, Boston Globe, Washington Times, CNN/Money, Toronto Globe and Mail, Los Angeles Times, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, San Jose Mercury News, The Baseball Analysts, the Oregonian, and Sports Fantasy Monthly magazine. Frank Burlison

Frank Burlison

(Los Angeles, California, USA), is the National Basketball Columnist and a Basketball Analyst for Scout.com Network. His opinion on high school and college players is one of the most respected in the country and he is frequently in communication with some of the NBA’s most respected people in the front office. For Scout.com, Burlison currently focuses on college basketball, recruiting, and the NBA Draft. Prior to his induction into the United States Basketball Writers Hall of Fame in April of 2005, Frank worked for the Fox Sports Network as a National College Basketball columnist, covering a gamut of college basketball and the NBA Draft. Over the years, Frank has scouted, analyzed and wrote about 95 percent of the all players currently in the NBA. Frank evaluated some of the great stars in the making at the high school level, including Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas, LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade. Many of his career highlights include covering The Final Four and the U.S. Olympic Basketball team. Frank started his illustrious career in high school as a professional sports writer for the Long Beach, California Press-Telegram in 1973.

KC Callero

(Valencia, Spain), former professional basketball player and coach, currently represents numerous basketball players in over 20 countries. KC is an expert in International Basketball and very familiar and well known with the leagues and scouts overseas.

Dino Caputo

Dino Caputo

(Toronto, Canada), serves as the Head Scout for the Western Branch of ISS's scouting department that is in charge of the Western Hockey League. He is responsible for coordinating the scouting activities of seven of ISS’s scouts and overseeing of Western Hockey League reports. Caputo is a current assistant coach and a former college hockey player for the University of Lethbridge, where he was nominated nationally for the Dr. Randy Gregg Award for leadership, academics and community service. In his 5-year junior hockey career, he played for WHL Victoria Cougars, BCHL Prince George Spruce Kings and captained the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Tim Cranston

(Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada), President of Cranston Sports Management and NHL certified agent has at one time trained or represented such hockey stars as Sidney Crosby (Pittsburg), Marek Svatos (Colorado), Petr Vrana (New Jersey), Ole-Kristian Tollefesen (Columbus), Jonathan Boutin (Tampa Bay), Kevin Cormier (Phoenix), Jan Steber (Toronto), and David Kuchejda (Chicago). Tim has an extensive Sports and Entertainment legal background working for companies such as McInnes Cooper, (the largest law firm in Atlantic Canada), and International Sports Management in Manchester, England. Tim is currently the SMWW Director of Hockey.

Colin Croft

Colin CroftAlmost 2 metres tall, Crofty is a larger-than-life character in more ways than one. He has the kind of positive persona to be experienced to be believed. It almost completely contradicts what one would expect as a result of his very aggressive, highly productive and successful fast-bowling international cricket career.

A former team-mate honestly commented: “Crofty would bounce his grandmother if she had a bat in her hand and he thought there was a wicket in it”. In reality, Crofty is an insightful, honest, humorously eloquent and charming giant of a man.

Chad is a frequent contributor to ESPN Magazine and makes weekly appearances on ESPN Radio and ESPNEWS. Before joining ESPN in 2001, Ford was the co-founder and executive editor of sportsTALK.com.

Andy Graham

(Pheonix, Arizona, USA), Synergy's Director of Client Services. Andy has been employed by Synergy since its first public season in 2004-2005 and throughout that time has served as a Synergy logger, Synergy Logger trainer and Head of Synergy Loggers until moving into his current capacity. Andy also serves as a beta tester for Synergy's new products, as well as sits on the design team that creates new features for both Synergy's Local Acquisition Editor as well as for Synergy's website applications.

Ed Gregory

Ed Gregory

(Alameda, California, USA), former NBA scout, NBA coach and NBA front office executive is one of the most well known executives in the game. Ed joined the Golden State Warriors in 1986 as assistant coach under George Karl. He eventually took over as Head Coach in final 18 games of the 1997-1998 season. He continued with the Warriors as the Director of Scouting for 10 years (1988-1989). He has been called a super scout with an unbelievable eye for talent and feel for the game. In those years with the Warriors, he was responsible for the drafting of Mitch Richmond, Tim Hardaway, Tyrone Hill, Latrell Sprewell and Chris Webber. Prior to his years with the Warriors, Ed spent three years as a scout for the Portland Trailblazers and three years with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was responsible for one of the best drafts in NBA history in 1986 when he ran Cleveland’s draft of Brad Daugherty, Ron Harper, Mark Price, and Johnny Newman. Ed has circled the globe seeing over 100 games a year, scouting colleges, CBA and foreign stars. Ed served as head coach at University of Las Vegas from 1963-1965 where he posted a 40-15 record (.727) record. He was the head coach at California State University of Fresno for 12 years where his record was 172-143. His 1965-1966 team went to the College Division NCAA finals.

Damian Hopley

Damian Hopley

(Twickenham, England), is the Chief Executive of The Professional Rugby Players Association. After playing first class rugby for over eight years, during which time he won 3 England Caps, a World Cup 7's Winners medal, a Cambridge Blue and various honours with Wasps, Damian was forced to retire from professional rugby in 1998, after a series of knee operations. The lack of support available to professional players led Damian to found the PRA later that same year. He has been the driving force behind the PRA, having founded the organization after his retirement. He has been instrumental as the lead negotiator on all player related agreements for both the Engalnd team and the British and Irish Lions over the past four years, and is a board director on England Rugby Limited, the company established to run professional rugby in England. His influence ensures that the players' rights are protected and represented at all levels within the sport. Damian has a Masters degree in Theology from St Andrews University, and went on to postgraduate studies at Cambridge in 1992.

(Jupitar, Florida, USA), CEO of Horrow Sports Ventures, has been the architect of 103 deals worth more than $13 billion in sports and other urban infrastructure projects. He is also the Sports Business Analyst for CNN, Fox Sports, CNBC, Westwood One, and CBS SportsLine and ESPN. Horrow's signature radio program, "FOX MoneyBall: The Cost of Winning," can be heard on Fox Sports Radio affiliates nationwide. His clients have included the NFL, PGA TOUR, NASCAR, Golden Bear International (Jack Nicklaus), Portland Trail Blazers, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Great White Shark Enterprises (Greg Norman), Ladies Professional Golf Association, Major League Soccer, and the State of West Virginia.

Gaurav currently assists SMWW in India with student services, professional sports operations, and all SMWW India related operations. Gaurav is trained in recruiting and mentoring of professional athletes as an SMWW Agent Advisor.

Abe Kerr

Abe Kerr

(London, England), is founder of Tri line sports, (Tls), is a dual code management and marketing company offering a full range of services to professional rugby players including club contract negotiation, financial planning, legal advice and commercial services. Having spent 10 years working in the professional rugby sector in a number of varied roles Abe Kerr established specialist union and league management and marketing consultancy Tri line sports (Tls) in March 2004. In addition Abe has worked in commercial, community development, development and marketing roles for professional rugby clubs such as Oldham Bears, Sale, London Broncos, Bedford Blues and Hemel Hempstead. Abe has personally managed over 70 leading professional rugby and cricket players.

Rodney Knox

(Nike World Headquarters, USA), is currently the Director of Communications for Team Sports (football, basketball and baseball) for Nike, Inc. Knox is responsible for overseeing Nike's multi-media campaigns for its athletes and products. Knox works closely with Nike's executive staff and professional athletes on communicating with the media and the public. Prior to working for Nike Inc., Knox served as the Sr. Director of Communications for the San Francisco 49ers and prior to that as the Public Relations Assistant Director with the San Diego Chargers. Knox brings over 25 years of varied experience in Integrated Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Media & Community Relations, Promotions and Sports Management, Marketing and Governmental Affairs. Knox holds a master's degree in sports management from the University of San Francisco and bachelor's degree in speech & communications from San Diego State University. Knox brings teaching experience from the San Jose State University and the University of San Francisco, where he was the instructor of a course on sports, media and society. Knox has also served on the NFL's Governmental Affairs Committee.

Jim’s diverse background as athletic director, coach, and professional sports general manager, event coordinator, sports administrator, education consultant, and faculty, enables him to guide and train you for any situation. Jim's Sports Administration job history and experience span the globe and include: The University of Oregon, NABC Convention & NCAA Final Four, DGI (Sports Association of Denmark), 1996 Olympics, Alabama A&M University, University of Alabama, GM of the Huntsville Fire (professional sports team), Title IX Consultant, YMCA, NAIA National Office and management of major events such as concerts, championship tournaments and professional sports. Jim has worked in numerous athletic departments including the small high schools, to large universities, as well as minor league venues and boys and girls clubs.

(South Orange, New Jersey, USA) is Sporting News' NFL Draft Expert, Former NFL Scout & Front Office Executive. Russ Lande, is currently a Sporting News.com NFL Draft Expert and President and Founder of GMJR.com. For the Sporting News, Lande is responsible for writing NFL insider content, providing detailed scouting reports on college players and posting an ongoing mock draft in the “War Room” leading up to the NFL Draft. Before working for Sporting News, Lande served as a college scout for the Cleveland Browns for three years covering the mid-west region while evaluating all eligible prospects for the NFL Draft. He covers all-star games, the NFL Combine and pro days. Lande continues to appear on radio stations across the country. Lande is also the author of the annual "GM Jr Draft Guide" which has been called the most comprehensive, unique and thorough NFL Draft Guide ever written and made available to the fans and scouts of the NFL.

(Portland, Oregon, USA), a native of St. Louis and graduate of William Jewell College did graduate work at Ohio University in sports administration after making a career change from journalism.He spent 20 years working in minor-league sports (baseball, hockey and soccer) in markets like Rochester, Nashville, Eugene, Spokane, the Twin Cities and Portland. He has been the top executive for organizations operating multiple teams and broadcast entities, the top executive for a league, a consultant and a collegiate administrator. After leaving Portland State University Athletic Department he took charge of Team Media Sales for North America for Lulu Sports and MRX Associates.

Shep Messing

Shep Messing

(Ridgefield, Connetticut, USA), is currently the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Global Sport Group, an international management firm that offers player representation, brand and image management, and wealth management for professional athletes. Global Sport Group has managed over one hundred and fifty players in fourteen different countries. He also serves as consultant on projects incorporating soccer stadiums and fields in NYC, for FIFA, the Federation Internationale de Football Association and for CONCACAF, the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football. Shep is a Harvard graduate and two-time All-American soccer player. He began his professional playing days as the net minder for the New York Cosmos, playing along side the likes of world-renowned players such as Pele, Franz Beckenbauer and Giorgio Chinaglia. Following his tour with the Cosmos, Messing was the first player to sign with the Major Indoor Soccer League; he played with the New York Arrows from 1978 thru 1984. Shep was also on the U.S. team in the Pan Am Games (1971), in the 1972 Olympic Games and with the US National Team. In 1993, Messing was inducted into the New York Sports Hall of Fame, in 2006, the Nassau County Sports Hall of Fame and recently, served on the Board of NYC2012. Today Shep serves in the New York broadcast booth for Madison Square Garden and ESPN International. Messing's broadcasting career began in 1986 calling action during the World Cup in Mexico. He worked as the color analyst for ESPN's coverage of the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Rob Neyer

Rob Neyer

(Portland Oregon, USA), is one of baseball's most respected writers and analysts, began his career in 1989, working for legendary sabermetrician (and now Red Sox executive) Bill James. Rob spent four years with James, then worked as an editor and writer for STATS, Inc. In 1996, Rob was hired by Paul Allen's Starwave Corporation, which had just begun to publish ESPNet SportsZone, the precursor to ESPN.com, the most popular sports-related Website in the world. These days, Rob writes at least four times a week for ESPN.com, and he's also authored or co-authored roughly a dozen books, including his latest, The Neyer/James Guide to Pitchers. Rob's extensive knowledge and experiences allow him to offer perspectives from both "inside" and "outside," resulting in a nuanced view that is rare among those connected to the game.

Dean Oliver

Dean Oliver

(Denver, Colorado, USA), is currently a Statistical Analyst and Scout for the NBA Denver Nuggets, and formerly with the NBA Seattle Supersonics as a Statistical Analyst. Dean is the author of "Basketball on Paper" and an expert at the evaluation of assembling players into a team, including quantitative evaluations of player quality, game strategy, and team chemistry. Dean is a "guru" of basketball statistics, having received a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of North Carolina.

Michael Oke

Michael Oke

(Seagrave, Ontario, Canada), serves as the Chief Scout for ISS out of the Toronto area. Oke brings to the table a wealth of hockey experience as a player, scout, coach, and General Manager. For the past two seasons Oke has worked as the Director of Player Development and Assistant Coach with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. His key responsibilities included analyzing and evaluating individual performances of players on his own roster, as well as, evaluating the skills and tendencies of players on opposing teams. Previously Oke spent four years as Assistant Coach at Wilfred Laurier University of the Ontario University Athletic Association and four years as Full-Time Head Coach/General Manager with the Trenton Sting of the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League.

Bret Polvorosa

Bret Polvorosa

(Portland, Oregon, USA), President of GRIP, is a sports sales and marketing specialist who consults with hundreds of US and Canada professional teams and organizations. He has experience with minor and major league teams all over the country in baseball, football, basketball, hockey and soccer. These include the Philadelphia Eagles, Sixers and Flyers, Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves, Florida Marlins, Nashville Predators and numerous Major League Soccer clubs. Bret is well known in North America for his business acumen, hands on training, sales, management, recruiting, team building, and customer retention skills. NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, and NHL teams and the IRL know to call Bret to improve their bottom line.

(London, England), is SMWW UK Operations Manager. John is a certified FIFA agent representing Sports International Management, a sports agency based in London, England. John and his partners represent soccer, cricket, and rugby union players, in addition to Olympic athletes.

Chris Rounds

Chris Rounds

(Portland, Oregon, USA) has numerous years of experience in sales and marketing with teams such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Columbus Crew, Everett Aquasox, Seattle Super Sonics, Portland Winter Hawks, Buffalo Destroyers, Portland Beavers, Portland Timbers, and Portland State University football. From there he went on to work with the Portland Winter Hawks as an Account Executive. While working for the Winter Hawks he earned the opportunity to work for the South Georgia Waves in Columbus, GA as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales. While there he was named the 2003 Marketing Man of the Year for minor league baseball and helped to increase attendance by 67%. He is currently the VP of Sales for Sports Management Worldwide.

Juan Pablo Sanchez

Juan Pablo Sanchez Delgado

(Mexico City, Mexico), has been actively participating, working and teaching in Auto Racing and Sports Juan Pablo Sanchez Management for the past 10 years demonstrating a lifelong passion for racing. Juan Pablo has raced cars and motorcycles and has acted as advisor and spotter for professional racecar drivers. Juan Pablo has been an active corporate and sports law attorney for 9 years and is the CEO of a sports agency in Mexico. Global Sports Management represents race car drivers and other professional athletes. Global Sports Management has a mission to promote, assist and educate race car drivers around the world. Internationally, Juan has participated in seminars and practical courses with several NASCAR teams. As part of racecar teams in Mexico, Juan Pablo has acted as spotter for several professional drivers winning 3 championships in the Vintage series. He has assisted teams in the development of new strategies and guided drivers on and off the racetrack. Juan is also an adjunct professor with the Johan Cruyff University Mexico.

Fred Schreyer, JD

Fred Schreyer

(Seattle, Washington, USA), serves on the board of directors for SMWW and is also involved with SMWW's elite athlete endorsement negotiation. Mr. Schreyer has had a long and prestigious career in the world of sports representation. Most recently, Mr. Schreyer played a major role in securing and negotiating the ground breaking endorsement agreements that basketball sensation LeBron James signed with Nike, Inc. and The Upper Deck Company. Mr. Schreyer has over 23 years in the sports industry including Director of Sports Marketing at Nike from 1987-1992 and the founder of Nike's Sports Management division in 1992. Mr. Schreyer is currently the Commissioner of the Professional Bowlers Association, where he has played a prominent role in leading that sports organization to strong ratings and sponsor growth over the last few years. Schreyer oversees all aspects of the PBA’s business operations and maintains primary responsibility for the negotiation of sponsorship agreements and financial arrangements.

Jonathan Story

Jonathan Story

(Gulfport, Mississippi, USA), is a Houston Astros Scout, MLB author and former pro ball player. Jonathan Story is a Major League Scout for the Houston Astros Baseball Club. He provides detailed coverage of the Southern League and selected spring training rosters to aid the club in the selection of players during trades, the Rule 5 draft and six-year free agent signings. His scouting career began with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club in 1992. His varying roles for several teams during his fourteen years of involvement in professional baseball as a player, amateur scout, professional scout and front office administrator have provided him the opportunity to observe the game from numerous perspectives. His duties within his area as an amateur scout included talent evaluation along with coordinating schedules with supervisors, interviewing players and their families, negotiating contracts and signing players within his area. As the Asst. Director of Professional Scouting with the Cleveland Indians Baseball Club he managed/coordinated the professional scouting staff, provided detailed knowledge and understanding of each MLB organization’s minor league system by reviewing and listing preferentially all professional reports and served as a liaison between the front office and professional scouts.

(Portland, Oregon, USA), comes to Sports Management Worldwide with an extensive background in sports as a coach, sports agent, and a sports attorney. Her list of clients is extensive having represented Venus and Serena Williams, Lincoln Kennedy, Jennifer Azzi, Katy Steding, Lynette Woodard, several Olympic Athletes and the Baltimore Orioles. In addition Sally has been an online professor having taught business law for Kaplan and currently teaches for Northcentral University. Sally has her law degree from Lewis and Clark, Portland, Oregon.

Marc Trestman

(Raleigh, North Carolina, USA), is a Former NFL Offensive Coordinator & Asst. Head Coach. Trestman has 17 years experience in the National Football League as an Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach. In 2002 with the Raiders, he was named Offensive Coordinator of the Year while leading the Raiders to the Super Bowl and also coaching that year’s NFL Most Valuable Player, QB Rich Gannon. His coaching experience has lead to his teams appearing in the playoffs 15 times, including 2 AFC Championship Games and 1 Super Bowl appearance. His experience even dates back to the QB coaching position at the University of Miami in 1983 when Bernie Kosar led the Hurricanes to a National Championship and received the Orange Bowl MVP award. Trestman has worked for Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Detriot Lions, San Franciso 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Bucs, University of Miami Florida,NC State University.

Jim Utter

(Charlotte, North Carolina, USA), has covered NASCAR for the past eight years with The Charlotte Observer and ThatsRacin.com. Jim is currently vice president of the National Motorsports Press Association and has won awards for news-breaking stories of NASCAR events by the N.C. Press Association and NMPA. He is an occasional guest on Performance Racing Network's "Pit Reporters" radio talk show. Jim has years of experience at the race track and knows job openings before they go public.

Mark Warkentien

(Denver, Colorado, USA), is currently the Denver Nugget's Vice President of Basketball Operations. Previously, Mark worked for one season as the Director of Player Personnel for the Cleveland Cavilers. Prior to Cleveland, Mark headed up the Portland Trailblazers Scouting Department for ten years as Assistant General Manager and Director of Scouting.

(Chicago, Illlinois, USA), is the new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Chicago Fire MLS team. Prior to joining the Chicago Fire, Mark was the Senior Vice President of the New York/New Jersey MetroStars and Senior Director at DC United.

Brian Wheeler

Brian Wheeler

(Portland, Oregon, USA), is a long term NBA Play by Play radio announcer. Wheeler's exciting style and trademark "BOOM-CHAKA-LAKA" dunk calls have endeared him to basketball fans throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is also a featured speaker and emcee for numerous team functions. Wheeler is entering his 21st year of broadcasting. Prior to joining the Blazers, he spent three years as a member of the Kings' broadcast team in Sacramento, serving as the team's pre and post-game show host as well as handling the play-by-play for a select number of games each season. He was also the original play-by-play voice on radio and television of the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs. Wheeler spent two seasons working in Seattle as part of the Sonics' broadcast group and also hosted a daily talk show on their flagship radio station. He has NBA ties to Chicago, where he worked on the Bulls' radio broadcasts in their first championship season. "Wheels" got his start in broadcasting in Chicago, earning a broadcasting/communications degree from Loyola University. Experience includes broadcasting stints for the Chicago White Sox, Northwestern University, and SportsChannel.

(Portland, Oregon, USA), is SMWW Director of Football Operations. He graduated from The University of Montana Western School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2006. Marcus was a four year letterman in football and was a member of Western Montana's 04-05 Frontier conference Co-champion football team. Marcus is a sports agent advisor with a goal of contributing to the growth of the SMWW football division.

John Wooten

John Wooten

John played for the Cleveland Browns from 1959-1967, the Washington Redskins from 1967-1968. John has been involved with the NFL for 44 years and served as Director of Pro Sports Advisors (Agent for Professional Athletes - 1973-1975); Player Personnel (Cowboys - 1975-1991); Director of Pro Personnel (Cowboys 1980-1991); Creator/Director of Player Programs (NFL - 1991 - 1992 (developing programs for Continuing Education, Financial Assistance, Family Assistance, Internship for NFL Players; Player Personnel (Eagles 1992-1993); Vice President Player Personnel (Eagles 1994-1997); Assistant Director of Pro/College Scouting (Ravens 1998-2001), Consultant-Player Personnel (Ravens - 2001 until he retired in 2004).

His on-the-field honors include, Associated Press All-Big Seven, All American Honors at Offensive Guard at the University of Colorado in 1958, named to the Chicago Tribune's College All Star Game in 1959, Sporting News NFL All Star Team in 1965, named to the NFL Pro Bowl teams in 1966 and 1967, Cleveland Browns All-Time All Star Team, named to University of Colorado's All Century Football Team, he was inducted into the Texas Black Sports Hall of Fame Inductee in 2002 and Hall of Fame inductee with the University of Colorado in October 2004, September 2005 Honored Jersey with the University of Colorado and has three World Championships -- Browns -1964, Cowboys - 1977 and Ravens in 2000.
